PTA Fundraising
Silent Auction – March 28, 2008
This is our largest fundraiser of the year and we need all our families on board! This adult-only evening is a fun, community building event, and our goal is to raise more than $42,000 this year. There are many ways to contribute to this fundraiser, including contributing interesting items to be bid on, volunteering at the auction, and attending and bidding on your child’s class creation, class basket and many other great items of interest. There is something for everyone – in all price ranges! This year’s auction will take place from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM on Saturday, March 28th at the Glenview Mansion in Rockville, MD. Look for updates on how and when you can be involved.

Book Fair
When a classroom becomes a bookstore for the week, everyone comes to shop. And this book sale couldn’t come at a better time. This year’s fair is scheduled November 10 – 14, and coordinates perfectly with parent / teacher conferences and evening events when parents will be visiting the school. So when you visit your child’s teacher, be sure to visit the book fair as well. Don’t miss your child’s personal “Wish List.” You can also use this as an opportunity to purchase books for your child’s classroom and to holiday shop. Remember – the PTA benefits from every book purchased at the Book Fair.
