RHPS International Cultures Night
Rescheduled: Saturday, April 10, 2010, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Our annual celebration of our many cultures will take place this year on Saturday, April 10 from 5-7 pm. Share your traditions and heritage with your RHPS family by hosting a family display table, bringing a dish that reflects your family heritage and wearing traditional clothes from the country of your family or a country that you have lived in or visited. With the winter Olympics just around the corner our children will participate in our very own RHPS Parade of Nations! Come out for a night of new discoveries, great food, music and pageantry!
Earlier this winter, we continued our new tradition of opening up the world to our children through the special experience of international philanthropy. This year we collected over $7,000 in pocket change for Heifer International. Heifer is working to end hunger and poverty around the world through gifts of animals and training. Check out their great work at www.heifer.org and ask your children which animal donations their class chose to make!
To make all of this happen we of course need your help so please engage in that strong RHPS tradition of volunteering by contacting Maria Chirikov.
