How to Volunteer

To volunteer in your child's classroom, contact your teacher or room parent. To volunteer at school-wide events, contact the volunteer coordinator or submit a Volunteering Form.

Here's the Form: Click on Volunteer Information Form, print it, fill it out and send it in via backpack mail with the envelope addressed to:
The Rosemary Hills PTA. Or drop off your completed form in the PTA Mailbox in the school's main office.

A Note About Volunteering

There is a strong tradition of volunteerism at RHPS. Volunteers help in the classroom, at lunch/recess, and in specials such as Art and Media Center. In addition, all of the fun and enriching PTA events are completely volunteer run. In recent years, we have had such a successful volunteer program that county school officials have contacted our school for advice. Every member of our community should feel very proud of our past volunteer efforts.

Our goal in recruiting and organizing volunteers for this year is simple: to provide each student with the best educational experience possible. We need your help to accomplish this goal. Remember, when you invest your time in our school, you help to form bonds that make us not just an institution, but a community. Further, seeing your commitment to the school will increase your child's sense of commitment to the whole RHPS experience.

Volunteering in the Classroom

Generally teachers start recruiting classroom volunteers in October, after students have had a chance to become acclimated.
As a classroom volunteer, your presence is a welcome way for teachers to maximize their instructional time. Teachers may need volunteers to work with students, or to provide other assistance such as copying, cutting, and setting up bulletin boards. Classroom volunteer training will be provided in late September.

Your Volunteering Makes A Difference

There are many ways you can help. Whether you want to plan and run a PTA event or to give an hour of your time at lunch/recess, in the classroom or helping with an event, your contribution makes a huge difference.
